Description
This 50s Casey Lightweight Dress in Denim Chambray is inspired by an original fifties' day dress! A beauty with a typical vintage look thanks to the shawl collar, short sleeves with turn-ups, a row of buttons down the front and a waist-defining fabric belt. From the waist down she flares into a semi-swing skirt with handy pockets. Made of a supple and breezy, melange cotton (doesn't stretch!) in light denim blue that feels lovely lightweight to wear. Worn casual or styled to a full fifties look, Casey is always the perfect choice!

Fabric Fail!
Very cute design and style but the “chambray” fabric used is aweful! When you think of chambray you expect a lite and flowy summer fabric. This arrived very stiff but fit great (TTS) and was cute so I removed the tags to prewash it (gentle wash, hung dry) hoping it would loosen up. It made it worse! Even after ironing it, the fabric isn’t smooth, it’s still stiff, bumpy and lumpy. This one was a fail and isn’t wear worthy.
