Love it or hate it, but there is no denying that summer is truly over. With that change of seasons also comes a change in outfit choices. Instead of wearing bright colours and short sleeves, we are now opting for cosy sweaters in darker hues. I love it! But that transition always takes a bit of getting used to and putting together an outfit can be challenging. Trousers, sweaters, skirts, tights, boots, you can mix & match and layer all the options to your heart’s content. So to make your mornings easier, I am sharing my favourite winter outfits with you. Fully customisable to your personal style!

Dress it up

Don’t have the time or energy (hey, I get it ????) to put too much thought into creating an outfit that will always make you look put together? My go-to is a pretty dress, preferably with a fun print. Pairing this kind of dress with a great pair of booties keeps the look casual and it also means that you’ll be ready-to-go in no time. Stylish, comfy and by changing up your shoes and accessories you can adapt your look for any occasion. Going straight from the office to date night? No problem! Swap your booties for a pair of classy pumps or boots, pick a lovely bag to match and that’s all it takes. Are you more of a solid dress kind of girl? Same rules apply!

Bad vibes don't go with my outfit

This is the kind of outfit that always boosts my mood and gives me endless styling options. To put together this look I paired a black A-line skirt with cute details (look at those buttons) with a pullover in a warm amaranth hue with fabulous puff sleeves. The patterned tights add a little playful touch to this solid colour outfit while the ankle booties keep it classy. Matching accessories are then used to finish the look! If you like keeping your look on the more casual side, opt for booties with a slightly edgy touch. Another great tip: pair a loose-fit pullover with a great print with a tighter-fitting solid skirt. Or match a solid colour pullover with a patterned skirt . Can you picture all the different styling options?

Never underestimate the power of a good outfit

All you need to create this look are some basics that you may already have in your wardrobe. Boring? Not at all! Flared trousers for example are great for giving your look a playful touch. Then grab your favourite pullover; whether that’s a pretty oversized pullover or this pullover woven with glitter thread (!!) by King Louie. The ivory-white boots with block heel give this look something special and make the whole outfit less casual then for example pairing these pieces with sneakers. Finish your look with pretty earrings and other pieces of jewellery that you love. Stylish, warm and comfy!

With good basics you'll have endless options

All you need are a few staple pieces and you can create lots of beautiful outfits. Hopefully my suggestions have inspired you to start creating your own fabulous looks at home.
