“We want to offer a collection that allows every customer to feel beautiful. That’s why our focus as buyers is on creating a diverse collection. For example, younger girls often have a completely different taste in fashion than elderly ladies. There is also a demand for crazy and fun prints and patterns: it’s a great feeling when we can make our customers happy this way! I also want to make sure that we offer a wide variety of colours and shades. That’s why in our collection you will find a great match for every hair colour and skin tone.’’

This philosophy is already evident in our buying process, because we don’t just buy an item based on a photo or straight off the rack. Everything we buy, has actually been tried on by us first. It’s quite a unique approach, but something that is very important to us. This way we can tell how each item of clothes actually fits and how it looks on different women!''

‘’The items in our collection are not just about matching a certain decade, but it’s equally important that a customer feels good wearing them. At the end of the day, every figure and body type is beautiful and we need to counteract that very limited view of the ‘ideal body image’ prevalent in today’s society. When putting together our collections, we try to strike a balance and offer different options. For example when it comes to our swimwear collection, the demand for larger cup sizes is growing: so that is something I need to take into account when I’m buying items for our collection.” 

 ‘’Feeling good can also be about what you wear underneath your clothes, like wearing the right kind of underwear and classy tights. For example, I instantly feel empowered by wearing a gorgeous lingerie set! And because nobody else sees it, it’s also something you do for yourself. When buying underwear for our collection, I of course pay attention to an item’s quality but I also make sure that it’s elegant and has a vintage look.  I’m also happy that an ever increasing number of brands are now offering tights in larger sizes. What it all comes down to is that you need be able to wear something that allows you to be you. I truly admire women who do and wear what they like!’’ 

‘’I handle the back office duties for our buyers, but I also make the arrangements with our showroom models and I’m responsible for the wholesale side of our own brands like Glamour Bunny. So my job is really diverse! Our team only consists of women and I really like that. We are a close-knit and well-attuned team, both on a professional and on a personal level.”
