The summer holidays are over, we are putting away our passports and suitcases and are returning to our normal lives. There will be no more lounging around in the pool on that inflatable flamingo: BACK TO WORK! But what to wear to work on your first day back after the holiday? No worries! Here are some fabulous outfit ideas for you, so you can make a stylish return to the office!

Holidays are over, get back to work in this stylish suit

I think every woman should own a suit. It doesn’t matter if your workplace is a formal environment or if it has a more casual vibe: you can never go wrong with a suit!  If your workplace allows for more casualness, you can pair your suit with your favourite sneakers. Wearing your suit with a great pair of heels on the other hand, will create a very stylish and classic look. It doesn’t matter where you work though, comfort is always of the utmost importance. The main thing is that you feel good in the clothes you wear. Of course, a suit can easily give you a very neat appearance, so you can also wear your suit paired with something a bit more casual, like this pretty solid top

Did you know that Marlene Dietrich wore masculine three-piece suits to create a revolutionary. androgynous look? This made wearing a suit (jacket + trousers) acceptable for women in the 1930s, thanks Marlene! ;) I feel like a real boss lady in this stunning Diadora Suit from our own Glamour Bunny Business Babe brand. This gorgeous suit is made of a firm, yet supple, warm-grey fabric with a hint of shimmer that adds just a little extra glam, has a light stretch and is lined for extra comfort. You can be masculine and yet very feminine at the same time!

Fabulous seventies office look

Flared jeans, maxi dresses, exuberant jewellery and floral prints: do I need to say more? I am totally crazy about seventies fashion! This outfit has a totally different look & feel compared to the first, but I LOVE IT! For this look I’m wearing the 70s Patty RubellBlouse from King Louie. A feast for the eyes and a joy to wear too, thanks to the supple and stretchy, black Ecovero viscose blend flaunting an eye-catching floral design. I paired this gorgeous blouse with the 70s Garbo Pintuck Tuillerie Pants, also from King Louie. She is a real classic that will wow for years to come thanks to the feminine high waist and the straight cut legs. Last but not least, I’m also wearing the Dory Platform BlockHeel Pumps by Tamaris. This look is the kind of look that makes me totally happy!

I'm a boots girl

Thanks to these 60s Debra OverkneeBoots from Tamaris you can continue to wear your short(er) dresses and skirts long after summer has ended! These black overknee boots are made of high quality, soft faux suede and feature a stretchy shaft that is suited for both a wider and a slimmer calf. And these boots deserve an outfit that is just as fabulous as they are… which outfit will you choose? My picks are the Elina Corduroy Skirtfrom Surkana and a King Louie Rollneck. The Gemma Handbag from Banned Retro finishes the look perfectly. It fits all your essentials, so follow your (vintage) fashion heart and let's shop!

Back at it again

Which back-to-work outfit is your favourite? I hope you saw something that you’re excited about. To be honest, I would love to buy all these office looks. They are all so different, but each one of them is simply perfect for the office. Happy shopping!
