15. Find out more about the Christmas traditions in other countries
What are some of the Christmas traditions and customs around the world? It makes a fun topic to talk about during Christmas dinner. For example the day before Christmas it’s a custom in the Czech Republic to try and predict if an unmarried woman will be lucky in love in the upcoming year. Using a high-heeled shoe, the woman is supposed to stand with her back to the door and throw the shoe over her shoulder towards the door. If the shoe lands with its front pointing towards the door, the single lady will get married the next year. If not, she will definitely stay single for another year.
